    Job Title: Survey DrafterJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Survey Drafter to support the design and documentation of land development and public works projects. This is a desk‑based role with no fieldwork required. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD/Civil 3D and comfortable producing detailed survey drawings for a wide range of project types, including municipal infrastructure, bridges, building sites, roadways, streetscapes, and residential and commercial developments.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and maintain survey records, maps, and reports

    + Analyze survey data and produce detailed drawings using CAD software

    + Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate survey deliverables

    + Provide support and guidance to field crews as needed

    + Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a CAD Technician with a focus on survey drafting

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

    + Understanding of land surveying principles and survey software

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with MicroStation

    + Experience with OpenRoads

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

    Work Environment

    Join a close‑knit team of approximately 40 professionals in a supportive, family‑oriented environment that values employee growth and work‑life balance. The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Hill, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
