    CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    This is a first shift CNC Machinist position working from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with occasional overtime during the week or on Saturdays. The role involves operating two HAAS VF4 and VF9 Vertical Mills, which run on Mastercam software. The machinist will work with a variety of steel materials, primarily block raw material, and engage in specialized machine builds. Run times may vary, with some days requiring running the same part all day, while other days may involve changeovers, tooling changes, and running two parts. The position is located on Green St.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain two HAAS VF4 and VF9 Vertical Mills.

    + Use Mastercam software for machine operation.

    + Work with a variety of steel materials, primarily block raw material.

    + Engage in specialized machine builds with varying run times.

    + Perform machine setups and changeovers as needed.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for machining tasks.

    + Troubleshoot and make necessary machine edits.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 years of experience in CNC machining on mills.

    + 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Mastercam programming from scratch.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
