Job Title: Industrial Electrician** **Job Description
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance functions, install, start up, and shut down equipment according to company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Maintaining housekeeping of your work area and equipment is essential, along with reading and interpreting manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance functions.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
+ Maintain housekeeping of work area and equipment.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment faults and failures.
+ Work with NFPA 70 and 79 codes to meet national, state, and local codes.
+ Experience with AC and DC voltages, including 480 volts.
+ Install and repair electric motors of all types.
+ Diagnose and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of electrician experience.
+ Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 79 codes.
+ Experience with AC and DC voltages, including 480 volts.
+ Ability to diagnose and program VFDs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
+ Skills in PLC troubleshooting and mechanical systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, well-lit building with plenty of space to move and grow. It follows lean and organized principles with a focus on 5S initiatives, ensuring everything has a place. The workflow is efficient, from cleaning and re-working broken down engines and components to assembly bays. You will work 1st Shift from 6am to 2:30pm, typically 8 hours a day, with the possibility of 10-hour days once trained. The manufacturing environment has limited fumes or haze, providing a clean working atmosphere.

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $89440.00/yr.
