Day Shift Forklift Operator

$17.00 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a **Forklift Operator** . This position is primarily forklift‑focused, but you’ll also assist with a variety of hands‑on tasks throughout the day. Our facility handles **container and racking systems** that previously stored parts for large manufacturers, and we rely on accurate material movement to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

+ Operate a forklift for most of your shift to move, load, and unload materials

+ Step off the forklift as needed to handle paperwork, assist with sorting, or help with general warehouse tasks

+ Verify shipping documents and ensure the correct containers are being prepared for outbound loads

+ Assist in managing incoming containers and racks from major client facilities

+ Support warehouse flow, organization, and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

+ Previous forklift experience

+ Ability to read and understand shipping paperwork

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Willingness to assist with manual tasks when off the forklift

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
