    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

     

    As a Material Handler, you will engage in various tasks that can be repetitive yet essential to operations. You will move around and perform different tasks, ensuring that products are ready for shipment to customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Clean display windows and prepare them for shipment using Windex and other cleaning materials.

    + Assemble various window units for display using screw guns and cordless drills.

    + Perform minor measurements and painting for displays to ensure they are presentable before shipment.

    + Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

    + Ensure a strong attention to detail and maintain a quality-driven mindset.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset.

    + Ability to use hand tools, screw guns, cordless drills, and other power tools.

    + Comfortable working in a shop environment.

    + Able to lift up to 50 lbs; anything over 50 lbs requires team lifting.

    + Knowledge of inventory tracking, ERP systems, and cycle counting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of experience in a shop environment, preferably in a wood-type shop.

    + Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and packaging.

    + Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and computer data entry.

    + Willingness to fulfill a contract for 3-6 months.

    Work Environment

    Work in a well-organized job shop environment where you can wear comfortable attire such as t-shirts, jeans, and work boots. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Standard working hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, with extended hours from 6am to 4:30pm. The second shift runs from 2:30pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. Flexibility for overtime work is required.

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
