Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set and operate machines to create precision machine parts according to specifications using milling machines.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
+ Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers.
+ Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
+ Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process to ensure optimal performance.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in machine setup and operation, specifically milling machines.
+ Experience with CNC operations.
+ At least 2 years of experience in machine operation.
+ Skilled in using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
