Works collaboratively and cross-functionally (e.g. Member Relations, Supply Chain, Gov’t & Public Affairs, Sales & Marketing) to document, report, and communicate Blue Diamond Growers’ sustainability key performance indicators. The Analyst will support USDA data collection and reporting, reimbursement claims, and serve as the point person for USDA personnel related to the USDA Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) grant through end of 2027. This position will also support collecting reliable data from key company teams and report sustainability metrics sought by our customers in various reporting schemes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Manages grant reporting relationship with USDA and related external partners to process Advancing Markets for Producers award, including documentation of activities and dollars spent. • Works with team members and external partners to define, document, assemble, and update key data sets related to sustainability. • Assists in maintaining an auditable mass-balance data tracking system for sales associated with sustainability attributes. • Assists Member Relations and Sustainability teams to collectively reach Climate-Smart Commodities project objectives. • Drives company sustainability program management with Stewardship Team through identifying and tracking progress against annual program milestones. • Executes and supports activities towards implementing the broader stewardship program goals and plans. • Assists in the development of company sustainability reporting by: o Supporting internal and external communication partners with key data and narratives o Coordinating data collection for the formal annual sustainability report from internal teams and experts as needed o Collecting, writing, and editing narrative accounts to enhance and illustrate company sustainability storytelling beyond raw data • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. • Bachelor's Degree • Degree, coursework or other training experiences in sustainability, environmental science, environmental studies, or related fields • Proficiency in MS Office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. • Ability to effectively communicate with employees. • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. • Analytical skills required. Experience and ability to identify current and future sustainability practices • Ability to effectively communicate with employees. The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
