Summary
The responsibility of the Network Engineer is to implement and support the organization's enterprise network infrastructure. This role provides knowledge and expertise in the fields of enterprise network infrastructure technology, troubleshooting , problem resolution, and business continuity/disaster recovery . The Network Engineer also plays a key role in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPS) to reduce downtime and mitigate operational risks.
Education and Experience
+ 2 -year degree in information technology, computer science, software development , or related field and 4 + years related field experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Minimum of 1 years' experience with Cisco networking or equivalent enterprise hardware ( hardware, software, protocols, etc.) with emphasis on large-scale enterprise LAN network deployments and operations .
+ CCNA/CCNP certification or similar preferred .
+ Experience in an enterprise environment supporting 100+ switches, routers, and wireless access points . Cisco 3700, 6500, 4500, ASR, FTD, WCS experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in providing in-depth support and engineering experience with LAN/WAN .
+ Ability to demonstrate familiarity with Network management systems, reporting, and capacity planning .
+ Working knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols; BGP, EIRGP, MPLS, OSPF, IGRP version 1 and version 2 .
+ Proven e xperience with engineering and supporting networks using high- availability, disaster recovery .
+ Extensive experience with network troubleshooting, performance tuning , and crisis remediation
+ Working knowledge of Telecom industry, ISP, copper vs fiber, and WAN connectivity .
+ Skilled in data and security engineering with experience implementing governance solutions within enterprise environments.
+ Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment effectively.
+ Must demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required .
+ Excellent communication skills (written, oral , and verbal).
+ Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ L ead and execute network technology projects.
+ Develop, maintain , and implement standard operating proc edures (SOP's) and control processes for Network capabilit ies and monitor to ensure ongoing compliance and consistency with established standards .
+ P erform all aspects of engineering, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-level systems and network infrastructure technologies in advanced data centers .
+ Demonstrate hands-on technical knowledge of enterprise networking technologies (including core switches , access switches , firewalls, edge and core routing, managed wireless, vLANs , DMZs, intrusion detection/prevention, evasion technologies, and network load balancing ).
+ Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning of enterprise-level systems/network infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to implement an enterprise security capability to protect against internal and external threats
+ Provide key performance indicator results to management to support data-driven decision-making.
+ Collaborate with the application development teams on internal and external facing applications for a highly available and distributed environment
+ C onduct in-depth research into issues and technologies a nd document current and future states during upgrades or system implementations.
+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company and personnel information to maintain a professional work environment.

Compensation & Benefits
+ The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
