Work hours: Full Time 40 hours a week.

Here's What You Need
+ H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
+ 6 Months experience in a Texas Health hospital pharmacy is required
+ 1 year of pharmacy tech hospital experience is strongly preferred
+ RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire is required And
+ BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
+ Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra. The ability to work alone, and as part of a team.
What You Will Do
+ Functionality requiring additional competency above Tech I, may require less supervision than a Tech I
+ Autonomous responsibility either with record keeping or as a single point of contact outside the department
+ Delegated functions of pharmacy leadership (manager or lead technicians)
+ Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.
+ Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and patient safety standards, programs and initiatives.
+ Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
