    Psych ACT Team RN – Durham, NC

     

    Start Date: 1/5/26

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends)

     

    Hours: 40 hours/week

     

    Contract Length: 13 weeks

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Psychiatric Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Durham, NC. This role involves working in a community-based setting to support individuals with serious mental illness and or detox through a multidisciplinary approach.

    Compensation:

    Travel Pay: $2,205/week (for candidates residing 50+ miles from Durham)

     

    Local Pay: $45/hour

     

    All caregivers will receive $0.62/mile for transportation between patients

    Extension Potential:

    High likelihood of contract extension based on performance and team needs.

    Preferred Experience:

    Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing

     

    Substance Abuse and Detox Care

     

    Home Health Nursing

     

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a community setting

     

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    Requirements:

    Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)

     

    Reliable transportation for community visits

     

    Commitment to patient-centered care
