_What You’ll get to Do_** **_:_

+ _Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develops metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance._

+ _Leads efforts as Digital Transformation Champion to align Apopka goals with sector and enterprise strategies._

+ _Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance._

+ _Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently._

+ _Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints._

+ _Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints._

+ _Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams._

+ _Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations._

+ _Solid written and verbal communication skills._

+ _Solid interpersonal and critical thinking skills._

+ _Solid presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas._

+ _Commitment to ethics and compliance._

+ _Ability to collaborate in a team environment._

+ _Ability for infrequent travel (<10%)._

_Basic Qualifications Industrial Engineer_** **_:_

+ _Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR_ _Master’s degree with 0 or more years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience._

+ _Experience in designing visualizations in Tableau._

+ _Experience in Microsoft Office excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables, or data visualization software applications._

+ _Experience with Visio or equivalent._

+ _Familiarity with Digital Transformation_

+ _Familiarity with time studies and capacity modeling._

+ _Familiarity with Process control methods (SPC/control charts)._

+ _Familiarity with Process Capability Analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk)._

+ _The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) secret clearance._

+ _U.S. citizenship required._

_Preferred Qualifications Industrial Engineer_** **_:_

+ _Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods._

+ _At least 1 year of demonstrated manufacturing experience._

+ _Experience with Lean Manufacturing Methods._

+ _Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)._

+ _Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP system._

+ _Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment._

+ _2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams._

+ _Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages._

+ _Familiarity with mixed model manufacturing operations._

+ _Familiarity with workstation ergonomics._

+ _Experience with agile methods of project management or development._

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
