Radiology Technologist (0.90 FTE, Day) — PeaceHealth Southwest, Vancouver, WA

You’ll practice in **two settings** —our **Vancouver Heights Imaging** outpatient center and **PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center** , a busy Level II trauma center—so you get the **best of both worlds:** steady outpatient routines and high‑acuity hospital work. Live minutes from **Portland’s culture and food scene** , yet enjoy the **friendly, small‑community feel** of Vancouver. And when you clock out, the **Pacific Northwest** is right there—beach, forest, rivers, and a mild climate—ready for your next hike, paddle, or weekend away.
The Work You’ll Do
+ Perform diagnostic X‑rays in outpatient and hospital settings.
+ Position patients safely and set exposure properly to get clear, actionable images.
+ Complete portable exams and support surgical imaging when needed.
+ Adapt exams to the patient’s condition; focus on comfort and dignity.
+ Explain each step so patients feel informed and calm.
+ Confirm pregnancy status when indicated and use radiation‑safety best practices (ALARA).
+ Prepare rooms and equipment; keep supplies stocked and ready.
+ Review prior images and labs to tailor each exam.
+ Document clearly in PACS/RIS and support smooth patient flow.
+ Support students and teammates; help everyone feel included and capable.
Compensation & Stability
+ Salary range: **$40.99 – $60.98** per hour (rate depends on education, training, experience, and any applicable collective bargaining terms).
+ **Hiring bonus and relocation** may be available.
+ Schedule: **0.90 FTE Day; predictable 12‑hour day shifts**
Qualifications
+ **Education:** Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
+ **Credentials:**
+ Washington Radiologic Technologist license (new grads may work until a WA Temporary Limited Scope Technician Registration pending ARRT certification).
+ ARRT(R) certification (new grads may be ARRT‑eligible at hire-ARRT-R required within 3 months)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
