What You'll Do:

+ Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as part of security-related documentation requirements.

+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Vaccines are required for work at this hospital site.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
