As a **Airport** **Security Professional - Red Team** in **Lihue, HI** , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.

+ Monitor access points and assist in controlling entry to restricted areas as directed by site procedures.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and the public to provide information and assistance as needed at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
