As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.

+ Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.

+ Follow post orders and directives specific to the healthcare location, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
