As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.

    + Monitor the premises for security-related concerns and report any suspicious activity or hazards.

    + Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.

    + Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

    + Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal at the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

    + It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 pounds.

    + It is preferred that candidates are able to lift more than 20 pounds.

    + Access control or badge experience is preferred.

    + It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
