As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Facility Patrol** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and critical events.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

+ Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and licensing requirements regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
