    Basic Job Functions:

    The role of the Furnace Tech includes, but is not limited to the following:

    + Ensure safe work environment for their self and their coworkers.

    + Ensure production of high quality product through proper Tunnel Furnace operation.

    + Ensure proper Tunnel Furnace tracking and coil marking/inventory.

    + Monitor Maintain, Troubleshoot and Repair the Tunnel Furnace and Banding area equipment.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 6 months of Hot Rolling experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Understanding of and experience withthe Tunnel Furnace& rolling process
