    Job Description:

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gate Check-In Attendant to manage vehicle and personnel access at our auction facility. This role is critical to maintaining security, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Check all vehicles in and out as they enter and exit the auction property

    + Verify vehicle information and ensure accurate logging of entries and departures

    + Monitor gate activity to ensure all procedures are followed

    + Ensure gates remain secure at all times

    + Confirm that only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed on the premises

    + Communicate effectively with auction staff, security, and management

    + Report any discrepancies, incidents, or unauthorized access immediately

    + Other duties as defined and assigned by the Manager

     

    Full benefits, paid time off, and 401K eligibility. This position starts at $15-16/hour, M-F work schedule.

    Required Experience:

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    + At least 21 years old with a Valid Driver’s License

    + Ability to drive vehicles with standard or automatic transmission

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to follow established procedures consistently

    + Professional demeanor with strong communication skills

    + Ability to remain alert and focused in a fast-paced environment

    + Prior security, gate, or access control experience is a plus (but not required)

    + Commitment to providing great customer service

    + Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings

    Physical Requirements

    + Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping regularly

    + Must be able to lift or move items at least 25 pounds

    + Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

    + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
