As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and communication.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.

    + Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while representing Allied Universal at the location.

    + Assist with access control measures and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.

    + Remain alert to any potential security-related issues or hazards within the location and promptly report them according to established procedures.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
