    Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Quality Assurance Coordinator / Infection Preventionist RN

     

    + Previous Experience as an Infection Control Nurse

    + Licensed Registered Nurse/Practial Nurse

    + Certification in Infection Prevention and Control

    + Experience in Skilled Nursing Home required

     

    Quality Assurance Coordinator / Infection Preventionist RN Coordinator responsibilities

     

    + Plans, evaluates and revises the infection prevention and control system as needed.

    + Effectively develops an organizational culture conducive to the establishment and maintenance of good infection prevention control practices.

    + Maintains knowledge of current medical (includes CDC) regulatory and scientific procedures and literature related to infection prevention and control.
