    RESPONSIBILITIES

    I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervises the day-to-day operations, and coordination and integration of services, programs, regarding patient care activities and services of assigned clinics.

    • Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and the policies and procedures of The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC).

    • Serves as the manager of the department/unit in the absence of the Manager as assigned.

    II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.

    • Continuous: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.

    • Frequent: walking.

    • Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object.

    III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

    • Exposure to body fluids, blood products and communicable diseases.

    IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • Master’s degree highly desirable.

    B. EXPERIENCE:

    • Three (3) years progressive experience in any combination of the following: physician’s practice, health clinic operations, and acute care.

    • One (1) year supervisory/leadership experience (i.e., responsibilities for major projects) in an outpatient setting or related medical field.

    • Prior experience to demonstrate ability to work effectively with physicians.
