    Our team is growing! The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for Research Associates, Sr. Research Associates and Senior Scientists o provide research support administration services for our government customer in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in biology, physiology, chemistry, or related field is required; however, animal research experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree on a case-by-case basis

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Ten plus (10+) years’ Experience working with small animals such as rodents, rabbits, and mice

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Trauma related biomedical research in a DoD environment highly desired

    + Some experience with benchwork is desired

    + Any certification(s) through AALAS (i.e. - ALAT, LAT, and/or LATG) are a huge plus

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen

    + Candidates must be able to pass a favorable adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries
