    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As an operator, you will be stationed at a designated 'Cell' and responsible for taking products through the production cycle. The steps are consistent across all cells, ensuring a smooth workflow.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare the tool by filling it with raw material

    + Flip the tool onto the machine for molding, then prepare the next tool.

    + Inspect the finished parts for defects

    + Weigh the products to ensure the correct quantity has been produced before moving them to the next bin.

    + Maintain a shift log documenting operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to stand for long periods.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in counting, sorting, inspecting, and packaging.

    + Experience in industrial or production environments.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Ability to lift 35lbs 30 times per hour.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work safely and follow quality standards.

    + Basic understanding of English.

    + Willingness to adhere to non-smoking policies during work hours.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment offers a clean, climate-controlled setting with a structured shift schedule. Operators work in four-hour increments during the week and may work weekends based on sign-ups. The facility provides necessary personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves, allowing for casual attire like shorts and regular shoes. Breaks are paid, and employees are not permitted to leave the facility during shifts. A strict no-smoking policy is enforced on the premises.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
