    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team in installing CO2 monitors at various commercial customer sites. This role involves light low voltage work, similar to fire alarm installation, using CAT 5 cabling. The position is available due to new CO2 regulations. You will work in diverse commercial environments such as restaurants and gas stations, ensuring the seamless integration of CO2 monitoring systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Install CO2 monitors at customer sites using CAT 5 cabling.

    + Engage with clients professionally and courteously.

    + Document all installations and activities daily.

    + Work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Attend two days of initial training before independent work.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in installing low voltage systems.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to install and maintain CAT 5 cabling.

    + Mechanically inclined with experience in facilities maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Honest and independent personality.

    + Polite communication skills with customers.

    + Experience in low voltage or light electrical work is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The role requires travel to various commercial sites, meeting initially at the shop. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM, with the possibility to start as early as 6:30 AM. This independent role offers minimal field management, making it perfect for self-motivated individuals.

    This is a Contract position based out of Opa-locka, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
