Special Education Teacher (K–8 Resource)

Pay: $45–$50 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Duration: ASAP through the end of the 2025–2026 school year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to serve as a K–8 Resource Teacher, providing individualized support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality educational services, collaborating with general education staff, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for K–8 students.

Provide resource support and specialized instruction tailored to student needs.

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Active IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred).

Compliance with all professional standards and state requirements.

Current CPR certification (if applicable).

Health clearance and TB screening (as required).

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Specific grade levels and caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.
