The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students and consultation with general education staff. T he ECE Special Education Teacher has acommitment to team participation in planning and implementation of studentprograms including special instruction for students in Pre-Kindergarten. Schedule Monday-Wednesday float between 2 Pre-K schools. Thurs-Friday sits in on meetings and acts at the SPED teacher to IEP create goals and other duties as assigned. Caseload is approximately 28 students.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state,contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard ElementaryTeaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard SecondaryTeaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teachingpreferred
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
