Manufacturing Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design equipment for assembly and testing of our products with a focus on ESP motors
+ Assist in commissioning or upgrading test equipment to the latest Extract standards
+ Create control panel drawing packages using CAD software
+ Create new or modify existing test software
+ Manage projects for creating new processes and equipment design as needed
+ Be proactive at solving problems and learning new techniques to increase production safety and efficiency
+ Support day to day manufacturing activities
+ Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Must be willing to do occasional travel. Some international travel may be required
+ Have experience working in manufacturing environments.
+ Proficient using CAD software and LabVIEW, database programming experience is a plus
+ Create work instructions for new processes
+ Supervise subcontractors to ensure work is being done safely and correctly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
+ BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
+ Strong work ethic and detail oriented
+ Team player with ability to work well in cross-functional teams
+ Strong communication skills
+ Self-starter willing to take on complex challenges
+ Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environments
