Position Summary
Seeking an experienced, reliable full-time Program Manager to provide key coordination of communication, dissemination, outreach, administrative, and implementation technical assistance activities for new and ongoing health equity-related programming within the Satcher Health Leadership Institute. The Program Manager will work in a team environment of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute to dutifully execute the following responsibilities:
+ Assist institute leadership in managing the health equity portfolio by actively participating in the development of new and ongoing projects.
+ Conduct research as needed in order to contribute to project deliverables and writing outputs institute-wide.
+ Perform data and trend analysis on a periodic basis.
+ Liaise with other programs, offices, and departments at MSM , as well as collaborators and other stakeholders as needed, to coordinate administrative core business and accomplish objectives.
+ Prepare written materials, including charts and graphs, as well as format and reference content for manuscripts, presentations, key deliverables, and grant proposals.
+ Schedule and manage logistics for assigned projects.
+ Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
+ 2-4 years related experience in program coordination, project management in an academic public/global health setting required.
+ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database, forms, and survey design software
+ Knowledge of and experience using virtual communication, website, social networking, social media platforms.
+ Knowledge of evaluation, quantitative, and qualitative research methods.
+ Experience in an academic and/or research work environment.
+ Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Possess excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
+ Knowledge of and an ability to interpret and apply related institutional policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
+ Possess the flexibility to work in a capacity beyond the listed duties and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse personalities.
+ Ability and eagerness to work both independently and in a diverse team environment.
+ Knowledge on diversity, equity, and inclusion with special emphasis on the intersection of public health and equity.
+ Excellent problem solving, time management and multi-tasking skills.

Immunization Requirements
It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are encouraged to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption.
