We are looking for a Speech Licensed Therapist to join the team at Benedictine Living Community, in Cold Spring, MN ! We offer a competitive wage and benefits.   No Productivity Requirements!     Position Type: PRN

     

    Wage Range: $55 / hour

    Speech Therapist Responsibilities:

    + Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.

    + Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.

    + Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.

    + Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.

    + Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.

    + Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors, teachers, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

    Speech Therapist Qualifications:

    + Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.

    + Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.

    + Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.

    + Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.

    + Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.

    + Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.

    + Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

    + Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
