What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the facility.

+ Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.

+ Collaborate with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information while upholding security-related protocols.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines for armed security professionals, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
