Position Summary
ANSER is seeking a Social Media Specialist to support the Strategic Communications Office at JPEO-CBRND. In this role you will develop and drive digital engagement strategies to enhance mission awareness and stakeholder engagement across internal and external platforms.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and grow JPEO-CBRND’s social media presence on multiple platforms.
+ Develop and execute digital media strategies that align with DoD communication objectives.
+ Create engaging, mission-focused content for internal and external audiences.
+ Produce a minimum of four social media posts per month and one article per quarter.
+ Conduct stakeholder outreach and engagement to amplify organizational messaging.
+ Research emerging digital platforms and recommend adoption strategies.
+ Develop analytics and ROI metrics for social media campaigns.
+ Ensure brand consistency and relevancy across all channels.
+ Support the development of JPEO-CBRND’s digital communication roadmap.
+ Collaborate with graphic and communication teams for content design and storytelling.
Required Qualifications
+ Active Secret clearance
+ Master’s degree
+ 10 or more years of experience supporting or working with Department of Defense medical or CBRN related programs
+ Experience managing social media platforms
+ Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and social media strategy including stakeholder outreach and management, digital media metrics and analytics
+ Experience advising and implementing digital strategy and creating content to promote organizational missions
+ Prior experience writing and storytelling for defense and government audiences
+ Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into accessible content

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:
$80,000 — $93,000 USD
