Job Description

Advance your scientific career in **Indianapolis** , a thriving center for pharmaceutical and biotech innovation. We’re seeking a **Metrologist Group Leader** to oversee equipment maintenance, qualification, and team development in a GMP-regulated lab environment. This is a full-time leadership role with **relocation assistance provided** to support your move.

• **What You’ll Do**

+ Lead equipment maintenance and qualification activities across lab operations

+ Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as a subject matter expert on lab instrumentation

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and global quality groups

+ Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance lab efficiency

+ Supervise and mentor team members, manage workflow, and conduct performance reviews

+ Ensure compliance with GMP standards and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

+ **Bachelor’s degree** in physical sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics)

+ **4+ years of industry lab experience** , including leadership responsibilities

+ Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with CMMS systems

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership abilities

+ **Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship**

+ **Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis – relocation support is available**

+ Position is full-time, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Overtime as needed.
