    Job Description

    + Analytical and/or testing

    + Independently write, conduct, review, and report scientific inquiries

    + Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation

    + Assist with test method development and validation efforts

    + Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

    + Ensure coverage and performance

    + Future employee's will be working with:

    + Process Control, NPRMs

    + LC-CAD Analysis (Sweetener Batch Acceptance Process)

    + Particle Size

    + Stem Length

    + NIR, pH/OV

    + Balance Verification (Daily)

    + Routine Sample Analyses (CFC, SFC, HLC, and CLC) – oven, pH, NIR, Sympatec and Retsch

    + Finish CEM and pH (daily)

    + Finish Sweetener Analysis to include: standard prep., extraction, testing, and maintenance.

    + Lab Equipment Qualification (documentation and testing)

    + Production Equipment Wypall sampling.

    Qualifications

    + High school or BS in Science or Engineering;

    + 3-5+ years (high school) or 0-2+ (BS) related experience

    + Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, with occasional off-shift/weekend work

    + Strong leadership, initiative, and team building skills

    + Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

    + Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

    + Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company and client policies

    + Ability to delegate workflow, as required

    + Ability to work overtime/weekends

    + Ability to work in a hot, dusty environment, lift over 50 lbs, and be standing for more than 50% of the shift

    + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    + **Position is full-time, 3rd shift, 7:00pm – 5:30 am (10.5 hrs), 4 days per week Tuesday night to Saturday morning​** ​​​​​​
