    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Laborer where you will play a crucial role in assembling containers. You will work closely with a team to ensure efficient and accurate assembly using hand and power tools. This position requires physical strength and a keen mechanical aptitude.

    Responsibilities

    + Use hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers to assemble containers.

    + Lift weights of 50+ lbs as part of the assembly process.

    + Utilize a tape measure for precise measurement tasks.

    + Work collaboratively in teams of five to assemble containers.

    + Follow detailed directions and instructions to ensure proper assembly.

    + Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by assembling and disassembling components.

    + Maintain a positive attitude and work well within a team environment.

    + Apply basic math skills for measurement tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with assembly and construction.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools like drills, hammers, and screwdrivers.

    + Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.

    + Mechanical aptitude for assembling and disassembling components.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously.

    + Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Steel-toed boots are mandatory for safety.

    + Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is dynamic, with a large warehouse space surrounded by assembled containers. It is important to note that the warehouse can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. Attendance is crucial, and missing work during the contract period can lead to termination.

    This is a Contract position based out of Harvey, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
