Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist for a 1st Shift position with flexible hours, Monday through Friday from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm. The role may require 5-10 hours of overtime some weeks. The machinist will primarily work with Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines, carrying out full setups and changeovers independently. This position involves running orders of 50-5,000 pieces and performing 2-10 setups per week in a job shop environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform full setups and changeovers on Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines independently.
+ Run production orders ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.
+ Conduct 2-10 setups per week.
+ Read and interpret defense blueprints and understand GD&T symbols.
+ Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
+ Maintain tolerances down to +/.0001 of an inch.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience setting up Swiss machines, preferably in the Aerospace/Defense sector.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T symbols.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Hanwha and Nexturn machines is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a small to medium-sized, well-lit, organized, and clean machine shop with approximately 20 employees. The family-owned business has been operating for over 50 years, with a strong emphasis on quality, never having parts returned. With a focus on the Aerospace industry, parts produced are used in the Rover on Mars and many satellites. The facility features air conditioning for a comfortable working environment.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
