Summary You will serve as a Special Security Officer (SSO), Special Access Program Security Officer (SAPSO), and Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) within Commander, Undersea Surveillance's Intelligence Directorate (N2), U.S. Pacific Fleet. Responsibilities You will lead a team through all aspects of Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA), Access Management, Personnel Security, SCIF and Physical Security, Information Security, facility accreditation, and Inspections and Incident Response. You will conduct preliminary access interviews and prepares, coordinates and submits requests for security access to the appropriate adjudicative authorities. You will manage and oversee DCID eligibility standards, the SCI Access Management System, the Compartmented Access Book (CAB), the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) for Navy SCI programs and Joint Air Force/Army/Navy (JAFAN) security. You will be responsible for overall program management of physical, personnel and information security disciplines for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP), intelligence related data, equipment and facilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administers SCI non-disclosure agreements to individuals prior to indoctrination. Developing policies and procedures, evaluating their implementation, and providing expert security advice and training. Coordinates, or performs functions and tasks involved in the development, evaluation, implementation, or execution of information security programs, including specialized security programs with the objective of detecting and preventing hostile intelligence penetration, which might endanger the activity or service, its sensitive operations, or its classified information. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) is required within 2 years of assuming this position and must be maintained through the entire length of employment. Failure to achieve the required SPeD certification or loss of this SPeD certification during employment is grounds for removal from position. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
