    The Role at a glance:

    TRIO Community Meals is seeking a reliable and hardworking commissary attendant to support daily kitchen and meal service operations. This role is essential to ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace while assisting with food setup and packaging. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and supporting the team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Set up the food service line prior to meal service

    + Assist with packaging and preparing meals for service or distribution

    + Break down and clean the hot line after service

    + Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

    + Take out trash, recycling, and cardboard boxes as needed

    + Stock supplies, food items, and service areas

    + Clean and maintain kitchen, storage, and service areas

    + Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

    + Assist with other porter or kitchen support duties as assigned

    What we're looking for:

    Qualifications

    + Previous kitchen, porter, or food service experience preferred but not required

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    + Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail

    + Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

    + Dependable, punctual, and hardworking

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to stand for extended periods

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

    + Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks

     

    Compensation Range

     

    $14/hr.
