Job Title: Billing Analyst
Job Description
As a Billing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting billing for our customers. You will be responsible for generating and processing billing transactions and invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Your role includes the day-to-day management of billing activities, ensuring invoices are booked to the correct revenue accounts, and adhering to revenue recognition principles.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare billing for submission to customers.
+ Generate and process billing transactions and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Manage day-to-day billing activities.
+ Review monthly invoices to ensure billing activities are booked to the correct revenue accounts and recognized properly.
+ Process a high volume of invoices.
+ Ensure month-end closing of the billing group functions.
+ Respond to and mitigate billing escalations.
+ Ensure invoices are delivered to customers accurately and timely.
+ Upload invoices to third-party billing systems on time and accurately.
+ Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers.
+ Assist with accounts receivable-related special projects as necessary.
+ Confirm and reconcile customer disputes regarding payment of outstanding balances.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
+ 3+ years as a Billing Analyst
+ Strong external communication skills via email and phone.
Work Environment
The billing team consists of 8 people, with two located in New York alongside the manager, while the supervisor and the remaining five members are based in Dallas. The role offers growth opportunities and exposure to leadership within the accounts receivable organization.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
