The Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG) Construction and Facilities Maintenance Office (CFMO) is looking for an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to work in their Planning Division, managing the logistics inventory of State of Georgia property for GAARNG CFMO employees and GAARNG Real property.
Typical responsibilities include:
+ Executes comprehensive lifecycle management of GAARNG Real Property assets, including processing all Army Real Property actions from construction and acquisition to disposition. Ensures meticulous documentation of financial data, contracts, and design specifications.
+ Manages and validates the accurate and timely entry of all Real Property data into key Army databases, including the PRIDEWEB system
+ Maintains Army Builder databases. From this inventory, Condition Index (CI) measures for each component are predicted based on its expected stage in the life-cycle. Objective and repeatable inspections can then be performed on various components to verify their condition with respect to the expected life-cycle deterioration. The level of detail and frequency of these inspections are not fixed like other processes; they are dependent on knowledge of component criticality, the expected and measured condition and rate of deterioration, and remaining maintenance and service life. This “knowledge-based” inspection focuses attention to the most critical components at the time. In addition to these condition assessments, functionality assessments can be performed to evaluate user requirement changes, compliance and obsolescence issues. This provides a comprehensive picture of the overall performance of building assets and their key components.
+ Leads the annual Installation Status Report (ISR) data collection and analysis, evaluating mission scores of real property to determine its effectiveness in supporting Army National Guard readiness and identifying critical deficiencies.
+ Directs the end-to-end lifecycle management of all state-owned IT inventory for approximately 80 CFMO personnel, including strategic sourcing of Army G6 compliant technology, asset issuance, and secure disposal of out-of-compliance equipment.
+ Assists with property book management for the GA CFMO, maintaining 100% accountability of physical inventory for all state-owned devices and assets through rigorous tracking, reporting, and scheduled inventories.
+ Conducts systematic annual physical inspections of 20% of the GAARNG real property portfolio to verify existence and ensure data accuracy within the PRIDE database. Maintains immaculate inspection records and validates all supporting documentation within each Facility Information Folder (FIF).
+ Proactively prepares for and provides critical support during real property audits conducted by the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) and ARNG G9, ensuring all records are compliant and readily accessible to guarantee successful audit outcomes.
+ Manages the procurement and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment for the CFMO team, utilizing state and/or federal purchasing systems.
