CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Salesforce position for our client.
**Location:** Reston, VA
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications to support business requirements.
• Perform high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of system-level applications.
• Resolve defects identified during various testing cycles.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and governance limits.
• Implement integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs and other integration patterns.
Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), OAuth, and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, including governor limits and security considerations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Salesforce DX.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience:
• 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers is preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Certifications (Highly Preferred):
• Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
• Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I (especially for LWC-focused roles)
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and work independently when required.
