Project Manager I - Nuclear Projects

CTG is seeking a Project Manager I to support nuclear projects, including refueling outages, forced outages, and online work. This role manages planning, execution, scheduling, cost control, and risk for assigned projects while leading cross-functional teams.
**Location:** Richland, WA
**Duration:** 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage nuclear projects from planning through execution with minimal oversight
+ Lead project teams (5–10 members) to deliver work safely, on time, within scope and budget
+ Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans
+ Oversee outage-related activities, including work package development, resource loading, ALARA planning, and safety compliance
+ Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, finance, vendors, and management
+ Manage vendor contracts and monitor performance
+ Track progress, resolve schedule conflicts, and manage critical path activities
+ Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
+ Support outage operations and corrective action programs
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of technical experience; **or**
+ Associate degree and 10 years of technical experience; **or**
+ High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of technical experience
+ Experience in project management, outage management, or online work management
+ Strong budget, scheduling, and stakeholder communication skills
+ Knowledge of nuclear safety, regulatory requirements, and human performance principles
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in a commercial nuclear power plant environment
+ PMP or other project/construction management certification (desired, not required)
+ Experience with project management and budget software (Passport preferred)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $48.00 to $84.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
