    Pay: $42/hr (Local)

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM – 3:20 PM

     

    Start Date: January 7th, 2026

     

    End Date: May 22, 2026

     

    Modality: In-Person

    About the Role

    Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide quality instruction and support for elementary students in a structured teach and inclusion setting. You’ll work with a small caseload and collaborate with classroom staff to ensure student success.

    Position Highlights

    + Caseload: 8 students

    + Classroom Type: Elementary – Structured Teach and Inclusion

    + Support: Classroom support provided

    + Responsibilities:

    + Deliver specialized instruction

    + Implement IEPs and maintain compliance

    + Collaborate with general education staff

    + Interview: Virtual or In-Person

    Requirements

    + Special Education Certification

    + Core/Generalist Certification

    + Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

    + CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB screening and health clearance

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Fingerprinting through district required
