We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 School LPN/LVN to support a student’s daily health needs within the school environment. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatrics, school health, and providing individualized, student-centered care.

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN plays a crucial role in identifying and addressing student health concerns, promoting wellness, and supporting disease prevention. You will monitor the student’s physical condition throughout the school day, follow their individualized care plan, and refer to appropriate healthcare providers when needed.

All care must be delivered within LPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with state health and education regulations.

+ Monitor and assess the student’s health status during the school day

+ Implement care plans and follow clinical guidance from supervising healthcare professionals

+ Provide routine and emergency medical care as needed

+ Support health education and promote general wellness

+ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards

+ Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable state and district policies

? Minimum Requirements

+ Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of service

+ Compliance with all professional nursing standards and practices

+ One year of school nurse experience preferred

+ One year of pediatric experience preferred

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (as required)

+ Current Health Certificate (per state or contract regulations)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years old
