The Executive Protection Lead Agent & Driver, assigned to a specific client, will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of senior executives and designated personnel by leading executive protection assignments and overseeing other Agentsallocatedto the details. This role manages protective operations, conducts threats assessments, and coordinates with internal teams and external vendors to maintain a secure environment across corporate offices and during travel.
Responsibilities
+ Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
+ Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the on-site Pinkerton Agents and the client’s expectations.
+ Work directly with designated client representatives to align service delivery needs.
+ Serve as the primary contact for on-site embedded Pinkerton embedded Agents and the client.
+ Provide consistent communications with the Pinkerton team weekly, or more frequently if needed, to ensure alignment.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance for the Pinkerton Agents to maintain high performance and strict adherence to protocols.
+ Assist with strategic planning and response management during incidents while offering subject matter expertise and stability.
+ Thoroughly assess venues' security prior to executive visits, evaluating potential risks including physical, digital, and environmental and provide documented findings with actionable recommendations.
+ Provide close protection, lead counter-surveillance operations, and perform threat vulnerability assessments.
+ Manage senior management or designated personnel’s close protection requests while ensuring safety and effective emergency response, as needed.
+ Provide safe transportation including route planning and vehicle maintenance.
+ De-escalate tense situations and use defensive tactics, as needed.
+ All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
High school Diploma or GED with at least five years of executive protection experience. Current MA Basic Firearms Safety Course Certificate, Firearms Identification Card (FID), and License To Carry Firearms are required.
+ Leadership skills, preferred.
+ Familiarity with healthcare environments and HIPAA considerations.
+ CPR/First Aid, defensive driving, and executive protection training. Advanced certifications (CPP or PPS), preferred.
+ Knowledge of workplace violence prevention and emergency preparedness protocols.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Sound situational awareness and independent judgment/decision-making skills.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
+ Professional appearance and demeanor.
+ Concierge-level customer service skills.
+ Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions:

+ Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations.
+ Work in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
+ Frequent sitting, standing and/or walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
+ On occasion, may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
+ Ability to work long hours, travel extensively, and respond to emergencies on short notice.
+ Domestic travel, as needed.
