    Description

    SAIC is seeking a **Cloud Engineer** located at **Pearl City in Hawaii** to support the **USINDOPACOM** contract to create, manage, and maintain automation scripts, homegrown applications, and code repositories.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    + Create, manage, and maintain automation scripts written in PowerShell, Bash, PowerCLI, and Azure CLI.

    + Manage and maintain internally developed applications written in C#.

    + Manage and maintain code/git repositories and container registries.

    + Leverage cloud and automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Kickstart, MDT, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation.

    + Utilize and maintain container technologies including Docker, Podman, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Tanzu, and Rancher.

    + Work with cloud and virtualization platforms like AWS, Azure, VMware ESXi, Proxmox, and Hyper-V.

    + Manage complex projects and communicate progress and challenges effectively with team members and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelors and nine (9)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

    + Proven experience with automation scripting in PowerShell, Bash, PowerCLI, and Azure CLI.

    + Proficiency in managing applications developed in C#.

    + Experience in managing code repositories and container registries.

    + Strong knowledge of cloud and automation technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Kickstart, MDT, ARM Templates, CloudFormation).

    + In-depth understanding of container technologies (Docker, Podman, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Tanzu, Rancher).

    + Familiarity with cloud and virtualization platforms (AWS, Azure, VMware ESXi, Proxmox, Hyper-V).

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

    + Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

    + Must be a current US Citizen.

     

    Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
