Screw Machinist Night Shift

Hire type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shift: Nights; Sunday-Friday from roughly 8pm to 6am. Have flexibility on start time. 50 hour work weeks. **Training on first shift preferred**

Pay Range: $25 - $30 /hr + shift differential

We are seeking experienced Screw Machinists for night shift positions. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running equipment to produce precision parts that meet exact specifications for industries like automotive, medical, and electrical.

Responsibilities:

+ Operate manual and automated machine tools, including mechanical multi-spindle and CNC multi-spindle screw machines, to produce precision parts and instruments

+ Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment

+ Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine the specific operation to be performed

+ Measure dimensions of finished workpieces with precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications

+ Set up and adjust multi-spindle screw machines, including models such as Tornos, Acme, and Gridley

Mechanical Multi-Spindle Screw Machine details:

+ 6 and 8 spindle cam operated machines

+ Component sizes: up to 20mm diameter, up to 100mm length

+ General tolerances: OD ±0.020mm, ID ±0.020mm, Position 0.030mm (tighter tolerance possible depending on datums/designs)

Multi-Spindle CNC Screw Machine details:

+ 6 and 8 spindle machines with fixed or sliding head stock

+ Component sizes: up to 40mm diameter, up to 300mm length

+ General tolerances: OD ±0.015mm, ID ±0.0075mm, Position 0.030mm (tighter tolerance possible depending on datums/designs)
