Business Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
+ Responsible for the development and execution of the retail Supply Chain growth strategy, including plans to expand into new software, services and supply chain solutions globally.
+ Works with the Product Management team on the development of the retail Supply Chain portfolio product roadmap and works collaboratively with the Supply Chain leadership team to ensure implementation of profitable growth strategies for the portfolio.
+ Works with CPG Business Manager to collaborate on growth strategies that intersect between the Retail customers and CPG customers specific to WERCSmart and SCN and related services.
+ Works with Product Management to provide software engineering teams with detailed solution requirements that are traced to voice of the customer and evidenced through market driven insights.
+ Responsible for price setting and margin management to ensure consistency and delivering on defined profitability.
+ Works with Marketing to develop clearly articulated value propositions and product/service positioning for our retail segment.
+ Responsible for building detailed business cases and commercialization paths for growth.
+ Establish strong relationships throughout the CPG value chain – Brands/OEM’s and multi-tier suppliers to understand how the entire CPG and retail value chain works to better serve our retail partners.
+ Responsible for overseeing the management and relationships with our existing Advisory Councils.
+ Plans and coordinates the daily operations for the retail customer segment (Account Management, Customer Care, etc.) in coordination with the Supply Chain Leadership.
+ Responsible for leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other people leaders; build strong teams, including developing bench strength for long term succession planning.
+ Shapes the retail portfolio image and brand awareness through collaboration with clients, trade associations, govt. and other important stakeholder groups.
+ Establishes roadmap to achieve revenue objectives and achieves profitable sales growth by developing and implementing profit and productivity improvement initiatives.
+ Maintains awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments.
+ Reviews operating results of the retail Supply Chain portfolio, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.

+ Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; MBA preferred.
+ 5+ years commercial experience (sales, marketing).
+ Strong commercial orientation; past experience leading a sales organization preferred.
+ Ability to operate within a matrix organization, leading through strategy and influence.
+ Strong experience in strategic leadership needed.
+ Strong experience negotiating large/major contracts
+ Advanced business and financial acumen needed.
+ Proven track record of success leading teams during sustained periods of change and rapid business growth.
+ Outstanding motivational and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to inspire an organization to reach superior levels of performance
+ Exceptional decision-making capabilities and the ability to work through others to implement those decisions.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
