Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7:00A.M. - 6:00:P.M.
Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, cultivator, planter, rotary hoe, harrow, ripper, mower and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, replace/maintain tires, service (check fluids), replace wear items and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Clean grain bins. Install field drainage tile. Pick rocks from field, clear trees for crop land using excavator, back hoe, skid loader, along with picking up sticks and having the ability to run chainsaw. Hand weeding of organic crops. Maintaining farm building sites, weed whipping, mowing, tree trimming. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Farming with: Corn, Hay, Peas, Soy Beans.
Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record.

### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
