As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible presence and outstanding customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the retail environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activities.

+ Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers while upholding site protocols.

+ Complete incident reports and document observations as required by site-specific procedures.

+ Remain alert to potential security-related concerns and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III armed certification for Texas roles only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
